The formaldehyde probe has high selectivity and sensitivity to formaldehyde and good water solubility. When the water sample to be tested contains formaldehyde, two formaldehyde probes react with formaldehyde, and the generated product emits 375nm emission light under excitation. The fluorescence intensity is proportional to the product. Therefore, the detected fluorescence intensity can be used to detect the formaldehyde content in the water sample to be tested.

1. The probe is sensitive to both light and air. The prepared reagents should be kept away from light and air as much as possible.

2. After the experiment is completed, the probe reagents should be sealed in time, kept away from light, and stored at -20℃.

3. The probe reagents may partially decompose under conditions such as contact with air, resulting in a high background. In order to obtain more accurate test data, it is recommended to draw the marking line on the same day.

4. If the water sample to be tested contains a lot of organic matter, strong oxidants, strong reducing agents and other interfering substances, please pre-treat it before testing.
